They can edit a still image, but general image models tend to redraw the whole scene — the room, the product, the face come back subtly different. A dedicated agent is instructed to keep your original accurate, change only what you asked for, and carry the job through to video and, if you want, back into your store.
A cloud service opens a browser in a remote data centre. It cannot reach the sessions you are signed into, and requests from data-centre IPs run into CAPTCHAs and bot checks far more often. We took the other road: the agent drives the Chrome on your machine, with the accounts you already use and your own connection — so pages behind a login are visible to it, and no password passes through us. The cost is that your computer has to be awake; the benefit is that everything it did stays under your own account instead of in a throwaway cloud browser.
It has the agent watch something on the schedule you set — say, whether anyone in a forum is discussing a topic you care about. Give it an RSS/Atom feed and the system fetches and compares the feed itself, then uses a small decision model (TypeSafe's Jev) to decide whether anything is worth waking the main model: a quiet check finishes in a few seconds and costs next to nothing, and only a real finding costs a few credits.
