Say “use the browser” and the agent opens the site — or works on a tab you already have open — types into the search box, presses Enter, scrolls for more, reads the page, collects the product photos and takes a screenshot to check its own work, which you see right in the chat. When you ask it to pick, it narrows the candidates down and stops for your confirmation — it never generates on its own.
👀 Buddy tab group
Every tab the agent opens, reads or operates is gathered into a “👀 Buddy” tab group — the eyes blink when it acts and the group turns orange while it’s busy. Grouping is just for visibility: on your own tabs it only does what you’ve allowed for that site, and it can close or redirect only tabs it opened itself — never yours.
Mood boards ⇄ chat, both ways
Both directions are connected. Import: reference images you collected into boards while browsing come into the conversation with one sentence — “use the images from my board pink”. Save back: when the agent generates something you like, one click on the image’s save button files it into your board for next time.
Ask-first, per site
The first time the agent wants to read a site, and again before it interacts with one, Agentic Hat asks you. Allowed sites are listed in the side panel settings, where you can revoke any of them; password fields are always refused. When a page needs you — a login, a captcha — the agent brings that tab to the front and hands it over.
Generated images go straight back onto the page
Made a studio shot or a model photo in the chat? The agent can drop it into a file-upload field on the page you have open — a product listing, a marketplace form, a CMS — so the result lands where it’s needed without downloading and re-uploading.

Click Buddy to collect the image.

Open Agentic Hat — the latest image is added to your conversation automatically. Not open? “Add to chat” opens it for you and drops the images in once you’re signed in.

In the side panel, tap the circle on images to select several, then add them to the chat in one go.

Use “Add to Mood Board…” to group references into boards — add a whole board to the chat anytime.

“Add to chat with style prompt” also pre-fills a style-analysis prompt — describe what you want and create in that style. You can customize the prompt in the panel settings.
Preview build
Early access: new browser skills land here weeks before the store build. Right now that means a confirmation card before anything irreversible (checkout, pay, send, publish, delete), CAPTCHA hand-back on more sites, links that open in new tabs handled properly, and quicker page reading. You install it by hand (steps below), and it can be a little rough.
How to install the preview build
The Chrome Web Store is not reachable from mainland China. If that is you, download the zip above and follow the four steps below — Chrome does not allow installing .crx files from outside the store, so this is the only way in.

Download the zip and unzip it.

Open chrome://extensions in Chrome.

Turn on “Developer mode” (top-right corner).

Click “Load unpacked” and select the unzipped folder.
After installing, Chrome shows "Disable developer mode extensions" on every start. That is Chrome's standard notice for any extension not from the store, not an error — close it with the × and the extension keeps working.
To update later: download the newest zip, unzip it, then click the refresh icon on the extension card.
